The EME Branch

The Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (EME) Branch has had a long distinguished history of dedicated service in the defence of our country. The EME Branch traces it roots to 1944, when RCEME was formed to maintain the army's equipment. The Branch has evolved to its present form by adjusting its functions and structure in response to changing operational requirements and technological advances. The aim of the EME Branch is to provide the engineering and maintenance support to permit other arms and services to accomplish their mission.
