Master Corporal Kim Grondin

Master Corporal Kim Grondin began his military career with the Regular Force in 2008 at the age of 18 and was transferred to 2 Battalion, Royal 22 Régiment, in Valcartier, Quebec. During his time with the battalion, he was deployed twice to Afghanistan as a rifleman with the battle group. Upon his return, he was assigned to the changing-of-the-guard ceremony at the Quebec City Citadel for three years. In 2012, he became interested in sport parachuting and took basic courses with a civilian school in the Quebec City area. In his spare time, he manages a hockey team in Quebec City and loves to ride his motorcycle to the Parachute Centre in the summer.
