Sergeant Zacharry Jacob

Sergeant Zacharry Jacob began his military career with the regular force in 2004, at the age of 21, and was posted to the 3rd Battalion, Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry (3PPCLI) in Edmonton, Alberta. While serving with 3PPCLI, Sgt Zacharry completed his Basic Parachutist Course in 2009, and was part of Para Company. He held numerous roles from machine gunner up to Section Commander. In his 10 years with 3PPCLI he deployed to Afghanistan twice and to Poland. Upon his return from Poland, he was posted to the Canadian Army Advanced Warfare Center (CAAWC) in Trenton, Ontario. While posted to the CAAWC, he spent 2 years teaching various parachute courses.
