PPCLI's 100th Anniversary

Lines of Operations (Triad)

Edmonton Commemoration, 6-10 August 2014, Edmonton AB:
The aim is: to bring the Patricia family together in one place and at one time to celebrate our 100th anniversary. The Reunion contains an All Colours Trooping, social, sporting, memorial and arts events.

Ottawa Commemoration, 17-21 September 2014, Ottawa, ON:
The aim is: to assemble the Regimental family in the birthplace of the PPCLI in order to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of our founding and to rededicate ourselves to the service of Canada. The Commemoration includes ceremonial, social, memorial, arts and rededication events.

Frezenberg Commemoration,  To commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the Battle of Frezenberg on 8 May 2015 within the wider contect  of the regimental role in World War I. This will include the dedication of an enhanced memorial at Frezenberg,  several ceremonials and battlefield tours centered around Ypres and Vimy. 


Centennial Baton Relay, The regiment will run a unique Centennial Baton which will contain the Honour Roll of the Regiment from Edmonton to Ottawa and it will also then go to Frezenberg in 2015 - thus linking all three major events of the Anniversary Period.
