Exercise MAPLE LION 2012Charlie Company manouvres with soldiers and the LAV III's 
1st Battalion Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry (1 PPCLI) deployed to FOB MINDEN in the Canadian Forces Base Suffield training area attached to 3 Mercian Battle Group (BG) of the United Kingdom for Exercise MAPLE LION.  After several days of familiarization training including time with the British H&K SA80A1 rifles which were used on the exercise, Charlie Company and the 3 Mercian BG started the advance to contact.
