The RVC Cell supports serving and retired soldiers, spouses, next of kin, and the chain of command by providing information, advice and assistance to ensure that soldiers and their families receive the support they need to succeed.
The RVC Cell helps soldiers and their families deal with military personnel, specialists, other Federal departments and support agencies that they may not understand or be familiar with. The Cell provides accurate, well-researched information on unit, Regimental, Army and Canadian Forces programs, benefits and policies, as well as the programmes and support provided by other Federal departments and civilian agencies. It also provides a dependable point of contact for soldiers and families in need. The Cell supports the chain of command by monitoring wounded soldiers and the families of the fallen, advising commanders of issues and concerns, and any shortcomings affecting existing programmes and services.
